About this Course
Rationale: This course is designed to develop the students with the skills needed for the systematic conduct of research and to deepen their understanding of basic statistics in application to the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
Description: This course will introduce students to quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as experimental or non-experimental designs, for conducting meaningful inquiry and research. It will provide an overview of the important concepts of research design, data collection, statistical and interpretative analysis, and final report presentation. The course covers a broad range of research topics at the introductory to intermediate level.
