We are pleased to inform you that iLS.Cloud version 4.4 has been officially released as of April 10, 2025.

This update introduces several enhancements aimed at improving the teaching and learning experience.

Here's a summary of the key updates:

For Faculty

Enhanced Navigation in Snap Theme

● A new side navigation menu provides quick access to essential tools:

○ Messages Drawer: Communicate with students without leaving the current page.

○ Block Drawer: Easily access and manage course blocks.

○ Snap Feeds: Stay updated with grading, forum posts, messages, and deadlines.

For Faculty

1. Improved Course Navigation

● The deprecated Legacy Personal Menu has been replaced with an enhanced My Courses page:

○ A comprehensive list of enrolled courses.

○ Multiple filtering options for better course organization.

○ Access to Snap Feeds for real-time updates on grades, messages, and deadlines.

2. Streamlined Communication

● The new Messages Drawer allows students to send and receive messages without navigating

away from their current tasks, promoting seamless communication.

3. Grading Notifications - Teachers receive real time updates when grades are submitted, keeping them

informed and up to date.

These updates aim to enhance the overall user experience by simplifying course management for teachers

and improving accessibility and communication for students.

This letter is to inform the community that our Cisco Webex meetings are currently auto ending every 40 minutes. The team is still coordinating with Cisco Webex regarding this issue.

In the meantime, we recommend using an alternative video conferencing platform such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams which all have full access too. Please see the attached instructions for using the mentioned platform through iLS-Cloud.

1. Copy Meeting Link then go to course
2. Click “Create learning Activity”
3. Search for URL
4. Paste the Link
5. Save
